New standard equipment includes body-color, power outside mirrors, rear speakers, and two new exterior colors (Cayenne Red and Gun Metallic) for eight total exterior color options. In addition, the SL grade sees a leather-wrapped steering wheel added.
The Versa Sedan 1.6 S models begin with the five-speed manual transmission at $11,990 and with the four-speed automatic at $13,490. Upgrading to the 1.6 S Plus with the Xtronic continuously variable transmission (CVT) prices the Versa at $13,990. All MSRPs do not include destination charges.
In addition to the S trims, there are the SV and SL trims, both of which come standard with the Xtronic transmission. The 2016 Nissan Versa Sedan 1.6 SV starts at $15,530 and the SL at $17,090. Plus destination.
The 2016 Nissan Versa Sedan is powered by a 1.6-liter four-cylinder engine that outputs 109 horsepower and 107 pound-feet of torque. The EPA rates the powertrain at up to 40 miles per gallon on the highway and 31 mpg in the city.
