Tesla Investors With Over $86,000 in Tesla Shares Who Requested Early Cybertruck Delivery Can Now Submit Official Documentation To Skip The Line & Get Their Truck Early

Check your inbox if you are a Tesla investor with over $86,000 in Tesla shares. Tesla has sent a communication asking for further documentation proving shareholder status. The program allows you to skip the line and take early delivery of your Cybertruck.

Although Tesla started delivering the Cyertruck 4 months ago, demand for the all-electric truck remains through the roof.

The line to get the Cybertruck still has more than a million people in waiting. While Elon Musk recently revealed that Cybertruck production is ramping up, the annual run rate remains below 50,000 trucks.

Tesla has been trying various strategies to determine which Cybertruck owners should get their trucks ahead of others.

The EV maker initially started Cybertruck deliveries with Tesla employees, and after a few weeks, Tesla began delivering the all-electric trucks to the public.

Since then, Tesla appears to be delivering Cybertrucks in the order they were reserved; however, with reservation holders surpassing 1 million individuals and spanning over four years, the EV maker has run into issues.

Unfortunately, some early Cybertruck reservation holders appear to have only made their reservations in order to take delivery of their Cybertruck before everyone and flip their truck on the secondary market for a profit.

To address this issue, a few days ago, Tesla reintroduced a program allowing people who pay 30,000 credits to skip the line, configure their Cybertruck, and take delivery in under 45 days.

This program caused controversy because it allowed people with 30,000 credits to bring forward their Cybertruck delivery dates significantly while pushing back the delivery dates of other people on the line.

This is the first strategy Tesla implimented; however, today, Tesla’s head of Investor Relations, Martin Veicha, revealed that Tesla is advancing its selection process in its second strategy to determine who should skip the Cybertruck line.

Viecha revealed that the EV maker had sent emails with further information to all Tesla investors who requested an early Cybertruck delivery.

The new email follows up on an earlier Tesla communication from March 12, which unveiled a program allowing Tesla investors to request early Cybertruck delivery. The program enables Tesla shareholders to receive their Cybertruck ahead of everyone.

To be eligible to participate in this program, in addition to being a Tesla shareholder, the EV maker has stipulated some eligibility requirements.

What are the requirements to qualify for the Tesla shareholders' early Cybertruck delivery program?

Here is the list below…

  1. The Cybertruck reservation must be in the participant’s name and have been made prior to March 1st, 2024;
  2. The participant has not yet taken delivery of a Cybertruck;
  3. Each participant must provide brokerage statements showing that you owned TSLA shares on Feb. 28, 2021, and owned at least 500 TSLA shares on Feb. 29, 2024;
  4. The brokerage statements for Feb. 29, 2024, must show that you owned at least 50% of the TSLA shares that you owned on Feb. 28, 2021, and
  5. Brokerage statements proving shareholdings must clearly show first/last name, statement date, and Tesla shares. All other information may be redacted.

If you fulfill the above criteria and have submitted your intention to receive early Cybertruck delivery to Tesla starting today, the EV maker has sent out emails asking for further information.

Tesla’s Head of Investor Relations announced this news, writing, “If you requested an early Cybertruck delivery, check your inbox! We just sent out a request for document submission.”

If you are one of these individuals, congratulations. Once you submit all the necessary information and your status as a long-term Tesla shareholder is verified, you will likely receive your Cybertruck in the next few weeks.

What Are The Advantages of Cybertruck?

This morning, I spoke about the advantages of the Tesla Cybertruck with Torque News Editor and Tesla reporter Armen Hareyan. I asked him if he could point out some of the main advantages that the Cybertruck has.

"Tesla Cybertruck stands out for its unique utility and futuristic design blend. One of its biggest advantages is the cold-rolled stainless steel exoskeleton. This isn't just for show – it provides superior durability and dent resistance compared to traditional aluminum bodies. You'll be less likely to see scratches and dings, a major benefit for off-roading or work sites. Beyond toughness, the stainless steel boasts excellent corrosion resistance, meaning less worry about rust over time. This is a major perk for truck owners who live in areas with harsh winters or salty roads," Hareyan said in a written reply.

But he also noted that the Cybertruck isn't just about brawn. "Cybertruck leverages Tesla's electric vehicle technology to deliver impressive performance. While the promised 500-mile range with the tri-motor setup hasn't quite materialized in real-world testing, it still surpasses most electric trucks on the market. Acceleration is another highlight, with the Cybertruck boasting supercar-like jumps from 0 to 60 mph. And let's not forget towing capacity – the Cybertruck can tow 11,000 pounds, making it a true workhorse despite its unconventional design. So, whether you prioritize efficiency, power, or durability, the Cybertruck offers a compelling package for those seeking a unique and capable electric truck."

As of now, this is all the information we have regarding the Tesla shareholder early Cybertruck delivery program. However, we’ll be sure to keep you posted if we receive further information. Until then, visit our site, torquenews.com/Tesla, regularly for the latest updates.

So, what do you think? Do you support Tesla’s decision to prioritize shareholders for Cybertruck deliveries? What other groups do you think deserve to get their Cybertrucks earlier? Let us know your thoughts in the comments below.
