Robin Leech hosted a television show a few years ago entitled “Lifestyles of the Rich and Famous”, where he would showcase some of the wealthiest people in the world. Each episode centered on the person’s house, cars, and very expensive toys and the extravagant lifestyle they lived. I’ll be honest it made you want to live in their shoes for a few days just to see how it would feel. Being a car guy, the highlight of the show to me was when they visited the garage and all the cool cars they owned.
The 2013 Jaguar XJ Ultimate was one of those cars that you didn’t need, was not practical, and the price out of range for the average consumer; yet you still wanted to know what it felt like to own it and most definitely drive it. Just for starters the middle seat in the rear was replaced with a fridge to keep your favorite beverage chilled. Each of the individual rear seats were heated and chilled and could be reclined while the cyborg massage feature released the stress of a long day at the office.
But wait- there was more. There was also a motorized pop-up tray in the front center console, five screens in the rear, iPads docked into the rear seatbacks with included wireless keyboards, and Jaguar’s exclusive entertainment system. The backs of the headrests were loaded with 8 inch screens with touchscreen remotes, and the 20 speaker Meridian audio system kept the tunes of your choice at just the right volume to impress even the most critical audiophiles.
Some have even called this a private jet for the road so I can imagine that this vehicle would appeal to the wealthy who are accustomed to the finer ways of life and the ultra-rich lifestyle. Don’t miss the videos below for a closer look at what makes this Jaguar such a great example of rolling luxury and style.
