While Subaru is having record sales for 2015 again and they look unbeatable, there could be a chink in their armor. Here’s the top 10 stories from 2015 and the top story will surprise you. It’s Subaru’s dirty little secret that they would prefer you didn’t know about.

The #1 Subaru story for 2015

Subaru has a problem with a few of their boxer engines. They consume above average amounts of oil and there is a lawsuit against Subaru of America. Not all Subaru vehicles are effected, but there a number of concerns that Subaru needs to address. The oil consumption lawsuit is still pending and the outcome has not been determined. Subaru’s WRX STI is hot

The Subaru WRX STI is a hot model for Subaru and continues to be in the news. It’s number two on the top ten list and also holds spots 4, 6, 7 and 8. The WRX STI is a rally-bred sports car that has a cult-like following with performance enthusiasts who own them. Crosstrek gets a new name and 3 important upgrades

Coming in at number ten on the list was the 2016 Subaru Crosstrek crossover. Subaru dropped XV from the name in the U.S. Small crossover consumers wanted to know about three new important chassis updates that were coming on the new model. What’s missing?

What story is missing from the top-ten list? The new-generation 2016 Subaru Outback was conspicuously absent.
