One of Jeep's most popular vehicles are getting a vibrant new shade, guaranteed to make the pickup stand out on the trails.
Jeep is all about personalization and customization. Jeep Performance Parts and Mopar offer hundreds of special accessories and ways to upgrade your ride so that it stands out on the highways and trails. Now, Jeep is offering two new upgrades to its popular 2021 Jeep Gladiator mid-size pickup as well as the ever-popular 2021 Jeep Wrangler.
2021 Jeep Gladiator Adds Gecko Green
Jeep is known for adding special colors to its lineup every year and now the 2021 Jeep Gladiator can be ordered in the vibrant Gecko Green, sure to make other drivers “green with envy”. The 2021 Jeep Wrangler has been available in Gecko only since spring. Gecko joins Nacho and Chief Blue as the special-run colors this year. The Wrangler Gecko orders will end in late August and the Gladiator can be ordered up until early October. The vivid Gecko Green adds $245 to the cost of the Gladiator.
New Tougher Windshield Also Available
Jeep Performance Parts is also making a special upgraded Corning Gorilla Glass windshield available for both the Gladiator and Wrangler. The $95 option can be ordered straight from the factory, so it is covered by the driver’s original factory warranty.
“Customization is at the core of both Jeep Wrangler and Jeep Gladiator, and new colors and equipment allow the customer customization journey to begin at the factory,” said Jim Morrison, Vice President, Jeep Brand North America. “Bold colors like Gecko Green give our customers the chance to stand out on the trails, while the tough Gorilla Glass windshield will help them bring their Jeep home unscathed.”
Gorilla Glass Available as Replacement Windshield
Earlier this month my colleague, John Goreham, wrote about how the new JPP Gorilla Glass replacement windshield was a great upgrade for the Jeep Wrangler. According to Jeep, “The combination of an ultra-thin Gorilla Glass inner ply with a 52% thicker outer ply makes this windshield lightweight, durable, and up to three times more resistant to chips, cracks and fractures from stones and off-road debris that hard-core Jeep Gladiator and Wrangler owners are likely to encounter.”
It would make sense to me that drivers would order the tougher windshield at the start to avoid having to replace it down the often rough road!
