The all-new VISTIQ will be just below the Escalade IQ in size.

While some automakers are slowing down EV development and production due to lackluster demand, Cadillac is forging ahead. The GM luxury brand is moving ahead with plans for another three-row SUV called the 2026 VISTIQ. Sizewise, the VISTIQ will be larger than the 2023 LYRIQ and smaller than the 2025 Cadillac ESCALADE IQ. The LYRIQ is already on the market, but deliveries have been slowed by production delays. Cadillac describes the all-new VISTIQ as “A distinctive and innovative luxury three-row SUV, designed for the modern family.”

“VISTIQ adds another compelling EV to the Cadillac lineup, reinforcing our commitment to an electric future,” said John Roth, vice president of Global Cadillac. “Our brand now has an EV entry in most luxury segments, offering customers a range of choices, and Cadillac EVs will cover most luxury SUV segments across critical global markets in the next two years."

Cadillac Promising to be All Electric by 2030

This is the third electric vehicle Cadillac has confirmed this year and fifth to join its growing EV family. As I reported earlier this year, Cadillac revealed the 2025 ESCALADE IQ, the brand’s first-ever all-electric full-size SUV. The IQ is promising great performance, with up to 750 horsepower and up to 785 lb.-ft. of torque. It is also expected to have a range of 450 miles.

Last month, Cadillac confirmed the 2025 OPTIQ, which will act as the entry point for the brand’s EV lineup in North America and will appeal to global luxury customers with its performance. The Cadillac website  describes the 2025 Cadillac OPTIQ this way.

“Performance as spirited as your ambition meets an interior as big as your goals. In motion and at rest, the sleek exterior evokes athletic prowess. Intelligent features guide, assist and entertain your every adventure. Introducing the 2025 OPTIQ, the all-electric, five-passenger SUV that moves you into luxury.” Additional OPTIQ details will be revealed next year.

Cadillac is not releasing any other VISTIQ details, only its size and where it will fall in the lineup. Additional VISTIQ details, including available features and pricing, will be released next year.

Cadillac to Start Producing CELESTIQ

The Cadillac CELESTIQ is Cadillac’s new flagship, designed to reestablish Cadillac as the “Standard of the World”. It is aiming for Rolls-Royce and Bugatti levels of luxury.

Cadillac has designed the all-new 2024 CELESTIQ to be not just a new standard of luxury but a whole new stratosphere of luxury. The CELESTIQ will be hand built at the Warren Tech Center and nearly ever aspect of it will be customizable. No more than six vehicles will be assembled at any time. Buyers can choose from hundreds of exterior paint colors as well as hundreds of interior colors. The designers use several different terms to describe the electric ultra-luxury sedan: handcrafted artistry, bespoke, personalized and customized.
