Ram understands that truck buyers want to personalize or customize their vehicles. Now, Ram is creating
new editions to help you buy exactly the right model for you!
Ram is out with even more special editions for its 2020 Ram 1500 and 2020 Ram Heavy Duty models. Ram is already on the forefront of the personalization trend, recognizing that nearly all truck buyers want to customize their vehicle in some way. Ram already makes about 200 different accessories for truck owners through its Mopar division. Ram also has established ‘Custom Shops’ located near its plants to improve the quality of special option packages that can be ordered when you order your truck.
New 2020 Ram 1500 Limited Black Edition
Now, Ram is offering a new 2020 Ram 1500 Limited Black Edition that will upgrade the Limited trim package with black exterior accents, a special sport performance hood and impressive 22” black wheels. The new trim looks especially menacing. The new black exterior accents include RAM spelled out on the grille, special badging, tow hooks, exhaust, premium LED headlamps, grille surround, bumpers, door handles and side-view mirrors.
The Ram 1500 Limited Black Edition has a manufacturer’s suggested retail price of $53.690.
As I mentioned in my story about the new ‘Custom Shops’, ordering the package when you buy the truck, allows you to finance it as part of the purchase price. Some buyers may prefer to personalize the truck later, when they can afford to add the extras piece by piece. The 2020 Ram 1500 Limited Night Editions should start arriving on dealer lots soon.
The 2020 Ram Heavy Duty is gaining new Night Edition trim packages for its Big Horn and Laramie models. The new packages will also feature black 20” wheels and special black badging. Heavy Duty trucks outfitted with dual back wheels will have 17” black wheels. The trim package for the Heavy Duty will also feature a black grille. The head lights and tail lights will have special dark bezels. The 2020 Ram Heavy Duty Night Editions have a starting MSRP of $37,995. The 2020 Ram Heavy Duty Night Editions should be available toward the end of 2019.
“Along with increasing capability, technology and efficiency, Ram is always looking for ways to create more comfort and refinement for our customers. The new Limited Black Edition is another example of how we deliver the most luxurious pickups in the industry,” said Reid Bigland, Head of Ram Brand. “Additionally, the new Heavy Duty Big Horn and Laramie Night Editions now offer an even wider selection of personalized content.”
