June sales

Good morning TN writers...since we have some new writers with us this month, I wanted to make a new thread about the monthly sales reviews.

Each month, I do a review of each of the Big 3, taking a look at the sales of each brand within the company...looking at the best models in terms of growth, sales volume, etc. I also do a piece each month comparing the sales of the nissan leaf to the chevy volt, as well as the head to head sales of the current muscle car class.

If anyone else is interested in covering other automakers or other head to head comparisons similar to the ones that i do, please speak up. for the brands, you should pick a company and include all brands under it in the US. For instance, if you picked toyota, you would include lexus...if you picked bmw, youd include mini...if you picked VW, youd include audi and any available numbers for bugatti, bentley, etc...but those might not be available.

One of the reasons that I dont do my individual articles right away as I compare the company being discussed with respect to the rest of the industry. It takes some automakers longer than others so I generally wait until pretty much all of the big companies have reported in. If any of you want to take other companies, you dont have to wait for the whole industry to report but i feel that it adds an extra point of perspective to the monthly sales reviews..
