If you are shopping for a Subaru Forester, here is why you don’t want the current fifth-generation compact SUV. And why waiting another year will be your best choice.

Should you buy the 2024 Subaru Forester compact SUV? The fifth-generation 2024 Forester is a good model and value, but it could be better. Here are ten reasons you don’t want to buy the 2024 Forester. New upgrades are coming that are worth waiting for.

Make a Subaru that will tow a camper. 1500lb towing capacity is a joke.
Put a outlet somewhere on or under the vehicle to run an extension cord with camping.
Make the 12v plugs work when cat is off.
You advertised Subaru’s for camping so a plug for electric into the car would be great.

Thank you for your update. I believe I have fallen for the Forester, and will be looking for a used one when people begin trading in.

The heated steering wheelnis a must-have, been waiting for this for years (even the Hyundais have it).
I have had 2 Outback and a Crosstrek, considering the Forester. But if I can't get a heated steering wheel, I'm going to have to move on to another brand.

Would also love ventilated front seats.
