Volvo, Toyota, Infiniti and others in the auto industry are joining their voices to the millions around the world and posting messages on their Facebook pages by taking a moment to remember 9/11. Here is what these car makers write.
"We would like to take a moment to honor and remember everyone affected by 9/11," writes Toyota USA on its wall. The Prius, which has its own Facebook page, also wrote the same sentence adding its voice to the remembrance moment.
Volvo is keeping the memory of the lost ones in its thoughts. "In remembrance of September 11th, all of us at Volvo Cars of North America are keeping the family and friends of lost loved ones in our thoughts today, the Swedish car maker posted this morning.
Infiniti announced that it will be joining the nation for the 9/11 observance and will resume its communication with car maker's fans on Monday. "On this day of remembrance, Infiniti Americas joins the nation in observing the tragedy of 9/11, as well as the resulting spirit and will to overcome. We will resume our conversation with you tomorrow," says Infiniti.
"Today we remember the victims and heroes of September 11, 2001. Our thoughts and prayers remain with their families and their friends," wrote Acura.
