The Chrysler Group has announced the pricing for the new 2015 Ram Rebel in both two wheel drive and four wheel drive as well as with your choice of the 3.6L Pentastar V6 and the 5.7L Hemi V8, with the most affordable build starting at $42,790.
The 2015 Ram Rebel debuted back in January at the 2015 Detroit Auto Show, providing a solution for prospective Ram owners who wanted a truck that was more off-road ready in stock form. The Ram Rebel wasn’t as extreme as some enthusiasts had hoped, but the features of this package provide more stock capabilities than any other Ram 1500 while also having a bold, sporty design inside and out.
When the company first introduced the Ram Rebel earlier this year, they didn’t offer up any pricing but today, we have the key pricing figures for this new off-road ready half ton Ram truck.
2015 Ram Rebel Pricing
Although the Ram Rebel is designed for improved off-road capabilities in stock form, the least expensive Rebel comes with rear wheel drive so it really isn’t all that ideal for offroading, but it is still one great looking sport truck. Also, the 5.7L Hemi is standard in the rear wheel drive Ram Rebel, delivering 395 horsepower and 410lb-ft of torque through the standard 8-speed automatic transmission. This powerful, sinister looking Ram 1500 starts at $42,790 plus the destination charge of $1,195 for a total base price of $43,985.
When you step up to the 2015 Ram Rebel with four wheel drive, you can pick between the 3.6L Pentastar V6 and the 5.7L Hemi V8. The four wheel drive Rebel with the V6 starts at $45,915 while the four wheel drive Hemi model starts at $47,565. These prices include destination and all prices are for the Crew Cab – which is the only cab option available with the 2015 Rebel package.
Ram Rebel Details
Regardless of the drive configuration or engine chosen, all 2015 Ram Rebel pickups come with a uniquely tuned adjustable suspension system that has a higher “normal” mode, 33 inch Toyo tires wrapped around unique 17 inch wheels, an underbody skip plate, tow hooks, black exterior appointments including the new RAM grille and unique seat surfaces with the Toyo tread pattern stamped into the red and black seats, an embroidered Rebel logo on the seat backs and the Ram logo stamped on the headrests.
The 2015 Ram Rebel is expected to begin reaching dealerships this summer and they should join normal production through the 2016 model year. The Ram Rebel will be the first truck sold with the new RAM grille design that does away with the familiar crosshair grille. This design has been more than a little controversial in the Dodge community, so it will be interesting to see how the look is received once these trucks are on the road. I expect that the early complaints will quickly dissipate – just like we see with the people who hate any new design.
