When the 2019 Dodge Challenger SRT Hellcat Redeye was introduced yesterday, Dodge boss Steve Beahm stated that it would start around $70,000. As it turns out, it actually starts at $69,650 – which is a remarkable price for a 797-horsepower muscle car. When you add on the unavoidable gas guzzler tax of $1,700 and the destination fee of $1,345, the actual base purchase price of the standard body Redeye Challenger is just $72,695.
The FCA announcement on pricing only touches on the base pricing for each model, but I have acquired a copy of the dealer order guide with all of the pricing, so below you will find complete pricing for the 2019 Challenger Hellcat Redeye with 797 horsepower.
What You Get
For that price, you get the 2019 Dodge Challenger SRT Hellcat Redeye, with the supercharged 6.2-liter Hemi delivering 797 horsepower and 707 lb-ft of torque. You also get the 8-speed automatic transmission with a high performance torque convertor, the driveshaft and axles from the Demon, the 15.4-inch Brembo front brakes with 6-piston calipers, the adaptive suspension system, 20-inch wheels with 275mm Pirelli PZero tires all-season tires, cloth seats, the 8.4-inch UConnect infotainment system and the exterior bits of the Hellcat package.
Option Pricing
Opting up to the 2019 Challenger SRT Hellcat Redeye Widebody will cost you $6,000 extra, while the 305mm summer performance tires add $695. The 3.09 rear gear set adds $1,095, the Alcantara interior appearance package costs $1,795, the red leather package adds $295, the Driver Convenience Group costs $1,095, the Harman Kardon speaker system adds $1,595, the Laguna Leather Package adds $1,795, the painted black hood costs $1,995 and the entire black body graphic package costs $3,495.
Other options include the power sunroof at $1,995, the Plus Package at $1,695, red seat belts at $295, the new SRT spoiler at $695, the Technology Group is $1,295 and the UConnect system with navigation is $795.
When we put together all of the options that make sense together (in other words, picking the most expensive interior package, etc), we come to a loaded price for the 797-horsepower Hellcat Challenger Redeye that is just under $90,000, while the loaded Redeye Widebody tops out around $95,000.
Best of all, if you are looking to order a 2019 Dodge Challenger SRT Hellcat Redeye, you can do so today. While FCA has not stated this, I have been told by several dealership representatives that they are now accepting orders – so if you want to grab up one of the upcoming 797-horsepower Challengers, you will want to act quickly.

I could have read the specs
I could have read the specs wrong, but it looks like the Redeye comes with the automatic transmission standard, On the 2018 Hellcat/Widebody the optional 8-speed auto costs an additional $3,000. Which would put the Redeye only $655 more before other options.
How can Redeye pricing start
How can Redeye pricing start under $70,000 but my 2018 Hellcat’s MSRP is $73,515 and the widebody option is another $6,000?

The base price does not include $1,345 destination charge and $1,700 Gas guzzler tax, which will be added to the Redeye, just as the $6,000 Widebody option will be.

Just like many before dealerships will have their own markups on the 2019 Dodge Challenger.
I do like my 2016 hellcat.
I do like my 2016 hellcat. But not impressed with the 25,000 dealer mark up that's hidden in the cars real value as there profit per car. Seems like now, when you want to trade the car in a year later its 20,000 less than what you paid for it, as there offer to you. This is robbery! We american citizens are being taken advantage again from another criminal source that's been legalized as a dealer. Also the dealer mark up over the cars value is another form of robbery. This needs to stop! So american car guys, don't fall for this anymore. Don't pay sticker price for any sports car. Negotiate a deal of 20,000 less than sticker price so we the american buyer can get the car a true valued price up front. It's bad enough they loose value over time. Just my thoughts guys.

Obviously you know little about the new car pricing. I just took an order for the Redeye Challenger. It has 5,000 in markup. Where are you coming up with 20,000 below sticker. We never add anything to the MSRP at our dealership.
As far as new car depreciation, i agree. Who decides the depreciation? Black book, Blue book, it's crazy. I always wonder how they come up with the numbers.
