Among the many sights to see in the Ford display at the 2014 Woodward Dream Cruise was the 2015 Mustang GT pedal cart shown above – giving Mustang lovers a chance to put their little ones behind the wheel of a next generation pony car that will provide hours of healthy fun.
The Woodward Dream Cruise is a remarkable experience for lovers of all performance cars, but the Ford display and Mustang Alley are the biggest and most extensive areas at the huge Detroit event. One of the key aspects of the sprawling Ford display is the family friendliness and at this year’s Dream Cruise, one of the larger displays along Mustang Alley had a small race track where kids could pilot a new 2015 Ford Mustang GT pedal kart. This allowed moms and dads to show their little gearheads the next generation Mustang in full scale before sending them onto the small oval track to make a few laps in a miniature version of the 2015 Mustang GT.
The Berg 2015 Ford Mustang GT Pedal Kart
As you can see in the image above, the Berg 2015 Ford Mustang GT Pedal Kart wears a front end that is very similar to the one on the full sized with the familiar headlights, grille and front fascia design that is the spittin’ image of the new Mustang – right down to the detail in the headlights and the chrome running pony badge in the middle of the grille. Along the sides, the Mustang pedal kart sports a set of black 5 spoke wheels with Mustang center caps and a black stripe that matches the stripe running up over the steering wheel cover.

The 2015 Ford Mustang in Triple Yellow
The Berg 2015 Mustang GT Pedal Kart seems to only be available in yellow with black trim but having seen these karts in person in action, this is definitely a cool toy for the child of any Mustang lover. Berg states that their Mustang pedal kart is good for kids ages 4 through 12 and the adjustable steering wheel and seat allow you to fit it to your child as he or she grows. The pedals allow your child to power the rear wheels and stop, while also allowing your child to go into reverse once the little Mustang has come to a complete stop. There is also a parking brake to make sure that your little kid’s Mustang doesn’t accidentally roll into your Mustang in the garage. Best of all, since this miniature Mustang is pedal powered, it allows your kids to have fun while exercising and having watched some kids drive them at the Woodward Dream Cruise – they looked to be having plenty of fun while exercising.
Berg Pedal Mustang or Power Wheels?
There is only one downside to the Berg 2015 Ford Mustang GT…and that is the price. On the Ford Merchandise website, it is listed at $549.00 so it costs far more than the average toy or even a brand name bicycle. In fact, it also costs quite a bit more than the current PowerWheels Boss 302 Mustang (2014 body style) which starts at $340 and it includes seating for two and a stereo system. However, there is currently no PowerWheels 2015 Mustang available so for those folks who have ordered a next generation Mustang GT and want their kid(s) to have the same Mustang that they do – the Berg Pedal Kart has you covered.
