There are no details on this barely-covered Charger SRT Hellcat, but Dodge is promising “something big” coming soon.
Early this morning, a new video was published to the official Dodge YouTube channel showing a mysterious Charger SRT Hellcat under a thin sheet. The sheet is so thin that we can see the SRT Hellcat badging and the familiar headlights of the current Charger, but the title of “Something big is coming” makes it obvious that there are some changes coming to the high performance four-door.
There is no information accompanying this short video, but based on what we can see, we believe that Dodge might be preparing us for the long-awaited debut of the widebody Charger.

Remember, a few months back, Dodge showed off a Charger SRT Hellcat Widebody concept car at the LX Spring Festival in California, so this blue car could be part of the production announcement. Unfortunately, there are no details to go with this video, but based on what we can see, there are some simple assumptions to be made.
What’s Under the Sheet Of The New Dodge Charger SRT Hellcat??
At the beginning of the video, the camera pans across the front end, giving us a clear look at the modern Dodge Charger headlight and the SRT Hellcat logo on the grille. As the camera pans out, we see more and more of the car, and it looks like the wheel arches under the sheet might stick out a bit more than a standard-width Charger, but the best clues come at the end.
Just before the video fades quickly to black, the sheet blows up over the front end, revealing the lower portion of the front fascia. This fascia has much larger vents than the current Hellcat Charger production model, but they look similar to the big vents on the Charger SRT Hellcat Widebody concept that we saw earlier this year.
Based on that, we are guessing that the big news coming soon pertains to the Dodge Charger SRT Hellcat Widebody, but we don’t know if this is a standard Hellcat or a Redeye version that many people are hoping to see. We also don’t know how soon this vehicle is coming, but here’s hoping to a short wait, as Charger fans have been waiting for some big updates for years now.
Those updates appear to be coming, but we just don’t know when.

It's a wide body red eye
It's a wide body red eye Charger. But I have hope in my heart for a new Magnum.
Yeah, it's the 707HP wide
Yeah, it's the 707HP wide body Charger Hellcat, and there is a Scat Pack Wide body Charger as well. But so far there is no announcement of a RedEye version, or AWD.
The wide body package is a nice addition, but not really a surprise.
