Over the past three weeks we have talked at length about the pricing of the 2015 Dodge Charger SRT Hellcat, but we really haven’t looked at the pricing of the rest of the Charger lineup – until today.
The 2015 Dodge Charger has gotten a tremendous amount of attention and as the quickest, the fastest and the most powerful sedan in the world, it deserves all of that attention. However, the Hellcat will likely be one of the lower take rate models so while many people will swoon over the Hellcat, the vast majority will buy some other model.
The 2015 Dodge Charger V6
The entry level engine for the 2015 Dodge Charger is the tried and true 3.6L Pentastar V6. With 292 horsepower and an 8-speed automatic transmission that should help the V6-equipped models hit at least 31 miles per gallon, this base V6 offers a great mix of efficiency and power. This Pentastar V6 is standard in both SE and SXT trim, with the Charger SE starting at $27,995 while the more heavily equipped Charger SXT starts at $29,995.
Whether you are purchasing a 2015 Dodge Charger in SE or SXT form, you can add an advanced all-wheel drive system with automatic front axle disconnect for $3,000. All-wheel drive models also get unique 19 inch wheels wrapped in all season performance tires. The all-wheel drive system is no longer offered on the V8 models, so those 2015 Charger buyers who want the most content and AWD will have to go with the SXT.

The 2015 Dodge Charger R/T Lineup
Those buyers who want V8 power from their 2015 Dodge Charger for the least amount of money will opt for the base R/T package, which starts at $32,995 and comes with the 5.7L Hemi that delivers 370 horsepower and 395lb-ft of torque. Those R/T buyers who want a touch more performance can opt for the R/T Road & Track package, which adds the Super Track Pak, the Dodge Performance Pages in the infotainment system, a 3-mode electronic stability control, heavy-duty brakes, track suspension, leather seats and whole lot more – all for a MSRP of just $35,995. The Charger R/T Road & Track model is the real bargain performance model for those who aren’t so concerned with having gobs of power, as it offers solid power and lots of amenities inside and out.
Now, if you want a whole lot more power than what is offered by the Charger R/T, the 2015 model year brings about the all-new Charger R/T Scat Pack. This is essentially a super tuned version of the R/T, adding higher performance suspension and brakes as well as the 392 cubic inch Hemi from the Charger SRT. The Scat Pack delivers 485 horsepower and 475lb-ft of torque while getting good enough fuel economy to avoid Gas Guzzler Tax – all for just $39,995. There is no large sedan sold in America that will keep up with the Charger Scat Pack for anywhere near $40k so if going fast on a budget is the priority…this is the 2015 Charger for you.
The 2015 Dodge Charger SRT Lineup
We have talked at length here on TorqueNews about the pricing of the new SRT Hellcat model with 707 horsepower, but the world’s most powerful sedan features a collection of components to help it brake and handle just as well as it accelerates. Things like the adjustable suspension, improved aerodynamics and the monster brake setup from the Hellcat models are also available on the 2015 Charger SRT 392, but instead of the 707hp supercharged 6.2L Hellcat Hemi, the SRT 392 Charger comes with the 392 cubic inch V8 with 485hp and 475lb-ft of torque. This is basically the engine from the Scat Pack model, but with the handling goodies of the Hellcat. Also, with a price starting at $47,385, it is quite a bit pricier than the Scat Pack, but still far less expensive than the Hellcat sedan.
Of course, we have the mighty 2015 Dodge Charger SRT Hellcat with 707hp, 650lb-ft of torque, a top speed of 204 miles per hour and a price starting at $63,995. Click here for a closer look at detailed pricing on the 2015 Charger Hellcat.
