For as little as $10, you could win a customized Chevrolet Camaro SS and hang out with Richard Petty for a day in that unique muscle car, all while supporting a great cause.
The charity website Omaze has teamed up with Richard Petty to put together an incredible automotive dream prize package that includes a new Chevrolet Camaro SS. For $10, you can buy 100 entries and for $5,000, you can get 50,000 entries and be guaranteed to at least receive one of Richard’s signature cowboy hats, autographed, of course. There are also other entry packages between the $10 and $5,000 with various perks, but the main attraction here is the grand prize – a new Camaro and a day with Richard Petty.
The Grand Prize
Whoever wins this contest will start by flying to Randleman, North Carolina, where the winner and a guest will meet Richard Petty at his facility. The airfare is included in the prize package, as it the 4-star hotel stay in North Carolina.
The time with “The King” begins at the Petty Museum, where he will take the winner through a private tour of his collection while talking NASCAR.
Next, Petty gives the winner the keys to the customized Chevy Camaro SS during a BBQ lunch, followed by a cruise with The King in the winner’s new muscle car.
Finally, the winner gets a tour with Richard Petty of the Petty Garage shop where the custom Camaro SS was completed. When the day is over, not only does the winner leave with a Camaro and some incredible memories, but he or she will also leave with one of Petty’s signature cowboy hats.
Cost and Benefit
As mentioned above, entering this contest to win the Richard Petty-themed Chevrolet Camaro SS starts at just $10. $10 gets you 100 entries, $25 gets you 250 entries and so on, with donation levels of $50, $100, $250, $500, $1,000, $2,500, $3,500 and $5,000.
