Toyota today released prices for all five styles of the 2012 Toyota 4Runner, and all five carry prices that are higher than the 2011s. The Japanese automaker at the same time announced that the venerable SUV would arrive at dealerships no later than month's end.
Pricing begins at about $32,000. The new 2012 sticker prices are between 0.5% and 2.6% higher than comparably equipped 2011 Toyotas.
The cheapest out-the-door price for a 2012 Toyota 4Runner is $31,090 for an SR5 4x2 model. Its $785 price hike is a 2.6% MSRP boost over 2011.
A 2012 4x4 SR5 has an MSRP of $32,830, $785 higher than the 2011 4x4. This is a 2.4% increase over the 2011 sticker.
The base MSRP for the 2012 Toyota 4Runner 4x4 Trail grade is $36,755. This is an increase of $200 over 2011.
Toyota's Limited 4Runners (pictured) are $38,595 for the 4x2 and $40,630 for the 4x4. Both 2012 prices are $195 per vehicle higher than last year. Both of those price increases come to 0.5% compared with last year's grades.
Add a delivery and handling charge of $810 to each new vehicle to determine its true price. The 4Runner has been available to Toyota buyers in the United States for 27 years.
