IMPCO Automotive has named former Ford Motor Co. executive Armando Ramirez technical sales, service and training manager to respond to and support customer and industry partners for all post-sales technical matters.
He reports to Rob Lykins, director of sales & marketing.
Ramirez is now responsible for management of IMPCO Automotive's technical sales, service and training programs as they relate to the
organization's Certified Installation Partner network, fleet customers and other dealer and OEM customers.
His primary focus is managing and directing a team of product and training specialists who will work with industry partners to ensure proper training, diagnostic and service support programs and processes are implemented. Ramirez is also responsible for ongoing service of the growing CIP, dealer and fleet network that is being put in place in North America.
"Our team is dedicated to supporting the growing number of CNG and LPG vehicles on the road utilizing IMPCO Automotive's alternative fuels
systems," Lykins said.

alternative-fuels industry will be a great asset to the organization as we roll out our training, service and diagnostic programs."
Ramirez, who is based at the IMPCO Automotive office in Santa Ana, Calif., is an ASE-certified master technician and an alternative-fuels industry veteran with prior sales and technical support experience at Ford, Clean Energy Fuels Corporation, ENRG Fuels Corp. and the Pickens Fuel Corporation. He holds an Associate of Arts Degree from Consumnes River College and is a graduate of the
Ford Automotive Student Service Education and Training Program.
