Adrian, Mich.-based Venchurs has introduced its XPLORE Grand Cherokee, a hand-assembled, special edition Jeep for enthusiasts who thirst for a premium sport-utility vehicle.
"Over the last 70 years, Jeep has defined true off-road capability and introduced the world to the great outdoors. The Jeep Grand Cherokee is an amazing vehicle," Jeff Wyatt, CEO of Venchurs, said in a statement from company headquarters southwest of Detroit.
"We feel privileged to offer this special version designed to deliver more power, capability and satisfaction to faithful Jeep enthusiasts."
XPLORE Adventure Series Jeeps are designed to deliver the great outdoors to your driveway and provide a way that you and your family can enjoy and support America’s greatest treasures, our national parks, Wyatt said.
The XPLORE Adventure Series Grand Cherokee is finished in a signature special matte clear titanium grey paint with a charcoal leather interior by Katzkin, Wyatt said. Underneath the truck is a modified suspension package and hardware from Mopar, BF Goodrich and Method Racing, he said.
XPLORE Grand Cherokees will initially be available only as built-to-order custom vehicles from Venchurs. Along with the XPLORE Jeep Wrangler, the XPLORE Grand Cherokee is available through Jeep dealerships.
Each XPLORE Jeep owner receives a free one-year pass to all national parks and other federal lands, a one-year membership to the XPLORE CLUB and a subscription to XPLORE Lifestyle Journal. For every XPLORE Jeep sold, a donation is made to the National Park Foundation.
Venchurs has served the auto industry for more than 30 years, specializing in kit-packaging, order management and service-based logistics.
