Rolls-Royce Motor Cars, the Goodwood, England-based maker of the world most luxurious automobiles, opened a small showroom today in Paris to showcase its premium motor cars for French buyers.
The leading-edge showroom in Paris's fashionable 17th arrondissement features three motor cars, an espresso bar and customer configuration lounge that makes color and trim samples.available to potential buyers.
Today's unveiling was hosted in France's most famous city by Torsten Müller-Ötvös, CEO of Rolls-Royce Motor Cars. The grand opening was attended by customers, VIP guests and celebrities. The boss took the time to explained to his honored guests: Why Paris?
"Paris is a global capital of style and fine living. I am delighted to see the new French home of Rolls-Royce in the heart of Paris, which complements the unique mood of the city, as well as the core values of our company,” Müller-Ötvös said
Eric Neubauer, dealer principal of Rolls-Royce Motor Cars Paris, said it is exciting to pay homage to the storied brand.
“The investment in our new showroom underpins our successful business partnership with Rolls-Royce in France," Neubauer told media attending the grand opening. "Working with our architects, we were keen to create an atmosphere befitting the Spirit of Ecstasy, as we celebrate the centenary of this famous figurine.”
To commemorate the 100th anniversary of the Spirit of Ecstasy (pictured), Rolls-Royce has commissioned innovative collaborations with leaders from the worlds of art and fashion and two projects were unwrapped today in Paris.
Alice Temperley, renowned for her compelling British fashion designs that pay great attention to details, created a gown for Rolls‑Royce that embodies the graceful Spirit goddess. The gown was presented at the grand opening, straight from the catwalk at London Fashion Week.
Another project: The Rankin: Spirit of Ecstasy collection. The renowned photographer Rankin is capturing 100 images inspired by the figurine and a selection of striking portraits shown for the first time in France at the showroom opening.
