Kiplinger's 2015 Best Value Awards has given the best midsize crossover win to the all-new 2015 Nissan Murano. We find out why Kiplinger's Personal Finance loves this crossover so much.
Kiplinger's Personal Finance has named the 2015 Nissan Murano the "Best New/Redesigned Midsize Crossover" in the publication's annual 2015 Best Value Awards. The Murano entered dealerships in December (we will be test driving one next week) received the win at the 2015 Washington Auto Show in Washington, D.C.
Every year, the magazine gives awards to winners in several vehicle categories based on their price, performance, value, safety, and driving impressions. Kiplinger's features the cars in their annual buyer's guide. This year's Deals on New Wheels issue hits newsstands on February 10. The redesign of the Murano, says Nissan, was meant to enhance its best attributes such as roominess, fuel efficiency, comfort and style. "It's an honor to be recognized by Kiplinger's Personal Finance."
The award-winning 2015 Murano features many things which set it ahead of the competition and that contributed to its win in this year's Kiplinger's awards. A low drag coefficient (0.31 Cd) and advanced Xtronic continuously variable transmission give the Murano excellent fuel economy (28 mpg highway), 20 percent higher than the 2014 model in both front- and all-wheel drive models.
