Infiniti has a program that gives graduate students a chance to work in Formula One.. if you have what it takes.
Are you an engineering graduate student? Want to work in automotive racing? Hoping to get into the exclusive world of Formula One?
Well, if you have what it takes, Infiniti will get you there. They are conducting a new global talent search initiative to give two winning engineering candidates a chance to complete a 12-month assignment with the Triple World Championship-winning Formula One team, Infiniti Red Bull Racing.
The two graduate students will work alongside the engineering team of the IRBR team's factory in Milton Keynes in the United Kingdom as well as in the nearby technical center in Cranfield, UK. The new program is designed to help both the students as well as the IRBR partnership in finding fresh ideas and new talent for the squad.
Called the Infiniti Performance Engineering Academy, the program begins with recruitment later this year. National selections in several regions globally will begin in May of 2014. Applicants will go through a comprehensive selection process to assess performance and innovative thinking. Senior technical figures in the Infiniti Red Bull Racing team will receive presentations from finalists in July of 2014 and winners will be announced at the British Grand Prix with placements beginning in September of next year.
The scholarship program for the Infiniti Performance Engineering Academy includes a salary, accommodation, and the use of a car during the year-long tenure.
If you think you have what it takes and are qualified to take this opportunity, Infiniti wants to hear from you. Watch the Infiniti global website for detailed releases for the application process.
