The Nissan Altima has been named as one of KBB.com's "10 Most Comfortable Cars Under $30,000" thanks in no small part to Zero Gravity seating.
Nissan's top-selling model in the United States and one of the best-selling midsize sedans on the U.S. market, the Nissan Altima is used to winning awards for design, style, and now comfort. KBB.com has just released its 10 Most Comfortable Cars lists and on the list for cars under $30,000, the Altima made that list easily.
The Kelley Blue Book online site does a lot of editor's picks for various things and when they do, many people in the industry take note. The NASA-inspired Zero Gravity seating in the front of the Altima were introduced in 2013 and have now been added to several other Nissan vehicles as a consumer favorite.
“In addition to its advanced ‘Zero Gravity’ front seats, the 2014 Altima features soft-touch armrests as well as noise absorption materials to help reduce cabin noise and improve the overall experience inside the vehicle,“ said Fred Diaz, senior vice president, Nissan Sales & Marketing and Operations.
The Altima was the sixth car on the list of ten. The other nine vehicles, according to the KBB.com list included cars like the premium Buick Regal and the solid Chrysler 300. The Chevrolet Impala took first place.
Considering that pricing under $30,000 for many of the vehicles on the list is only with purchase of the base model without many add-ons, the fact that the Altima made that same list says something about the car.
