Fiat Updates the 124 Spider For 2018 - What You Need To Know

Here are all the changes to the 2018 Fiat 124 Spider in order of importance.

2018 Fiat 124 Spider - Yes, You Can Have It Your Way
For 2018, Fiat will still offer the 124 Spider in Classica, Lusso, and Abarth trims. However, the company promises, that unlike in the past, "customers will be able to select the exact options they desire." We hope that proves to be the case. Many owners and fans have reported that the colors, transmission, and other features they wanted were not available. We speculate this is part of why the Mazda Miata has been outselling the Fiat Spider in dramatic fashion.

2018 Fiat 124 Spider - New Colors!
Fiat has announced that there will be three new paint colors for the 124 Spider. Puro Bianco Perla (Tri-Coat White Pearl), Grigio Chiaro (Silver Metallic) and Blu Scuro (Dark Blue Metallic). For 2018, here is the full list of colors available:
Rosso (Red Clear Coat)
Bianco Gelato (Arctic White Clear Coat)
Nero Cinema (Jet Black Metallic)
Grigio Moda (Meteor Gray Metallic)
Bronzo Magnetico (Bronze Metallic)
Puro Bianco Perla (Tri-Coat White Pearl) (new for 2018)
Grigio Chiaro (Silver Metallic) (new for 2018)
Blu Scuro (Dark Blue Metallic) (new for 2018)

2018 Fiat 124 Spider - New Special Red Top Edition
There will be a new Red Top Edition of the Lusso for 2018. This will be a late addition and won't be seen until the spring. We will do a special story on that when more facts and images become available from Fiat North America.
