Four vehicles are being modified as part of the Toyota Dream Build Challenge. Antron Brown's Sequoia is starting look like a monster.

In Antron Brown’s NHRA Top Fuel racing world it is all about the launch. As part of the Toyota Dream Build Challenge Antron was given the Toyota Sequoia to modify. For those not in the know, the Challenge is Toyota’s way of spotlighting its racing programs. Four stars of racing were given four different Toyotas to modify. Racing fans will vote to select the most amazing transformation. From the NASCAR series, Clint Bowyer and Kyle Busch have teamed up to modify a Camry, which is the car they drive in the NASCAR series (sort of). They are also modifying a Prius. From the NHRA Funny Car series, Alexis Dejoria is modifying a Tundra truck.

These custom vehicles are not going to be simple. None of that adds an airbox, custom exhaust, and new rims. Nope, this is all-out tearing it down to the frame and build a beast hot rod style Mods. Brown Says “The build process is going to be intense… blood, sweat, and tears. We’re chopping it down, we’re making it low, we’re making it mean, we’re making it aggressive, and in all…we’re making it fast!” Fast as in a V8 with an added supercharger. And nitrous. Putting all that power down is going to be difficult, but Brown plans 33-inch racing slicks to help get the job done.

Toyota is making the competition fun, but there is also a serious undertone as in addition to bragging rights, the winning team will receive a $50,000 check from Toyota made out in the name of the racer’s favorite charity. Ultimately the winner will be announced at the SEMA show in Vegas this October 30th. Fans can start voting on Facebook (once per day) 10 days prior on October 20th.
