A new report from CarHistory.org identifies the top ten most searched car brands in America. They have identified Subaru as the number eight most researched, and the Japanese automaker is seventh in total vehicle sales in the U.S. market. Another report from Edmunds reveals the 2021 Forester is Subaru’s most researched model, followed by the 2021 Outback and 2021 Crosstrek.
The Top 10 most researched car brands are from one to ten, Ford, Chevrolet, Toyota, Honda, Jeep, Nissan, Hyundai, Subaru, Kia, and GMC. Potential buyers search the vehicle’s features, fuel mileage, safety scores, pricing, financing options, and consumer reports.

Subaru just recently was rated the number four most liked car brands by Consumer Reports' owner surveys. Factor ratings were determined based on asking owners “would you buy again?” scores, driving, comfort, value, in-car-electronics, and cabin room scores. The top ten most liked brands are Tesla number one, followed by Lincoln, Ram, Chrysler, Subaru, Hyundai, Porsche, Dodge, Mazda, and Toyota.
In Edmund’s 50 most researched vehicles, the 2021 Subaru Forester is number twenty-four. The 2021 Subaru Outback is number twenty-eight, and the 2021 Crosstrek is number thirty-six.
