The new 2013 Range Rover Evoque gets a new “Pure” model and a number of new high-tech features for the sporty crossover from Land Rover.

The Range Rover Evoque was introduced in 2012 and has been wildly popular. It has received over 120 international awards and Land Rover had to add workers and an extra shift to keep up with demand in 160 global markets. The 2013 Range Rover Evoque details have been released by Land Rover and there is a new model and some high tech features that have been added. Land Rover has also released pricing on the new 2013 Evoque.

What’s new for 2013

Land Rover has added a new Evoque model called “Pure”, which is a five-door variant. The new "Pure" makes the Range Rover Evoque more affordable with its new pricing of $41,995 for the base model. The new model features an aluminum alloy roof in place of the panoramic laminated glass roof which comes standard on other Range Rover Evoque models. It also features an interior trimmed in leather and Dinamica synthetic suede.

The 2013 Evoque also gets a new Park Assist feature which is an automated parking system on the sporty crossover. The new 2013 models also comes with an off-road navigation feature, a revised front grill design includes the black Land Rover logo, a contrast roof color can be selected as a stand-alone option and a new wheel finish is available on the Prestige model.

Range Rover Park Assist

The new optional Range Rover Park Assist is a totally automated parallel parking system. The driver pulls up next to a parking space and selects “Park Assist”. The system will then analyze the parking space and if it is big enough, the wording “Space Found” appears on the display screen. The driver is then instructed to follow the on-screen commands. Park Assist handles all steering actions, while the driver chooses transmission selection, accelerator and brake pedal.

Off-Road Navigation3

A feature that has been added for 2013 benefits those who take their new Evoque off the paved road. Land Rover says the Off-Road navigation system provides key off-road information, such as topographic contour lines, latitude, longitude, altitude, trace, waypoint, and compass functions. While most Evoque owners won’t ever take their new SUV off-road, it's a handy feature for navigating the back country.
