Even though it’s spring, in the Rocky Mountains, it can still snow a foot or more. March and April are the snowiest months in Colorado and also in many of the mountain states out west. This weekend brings a wet dumping snowstorm that is a reminder to those who live in the mountain states, they should keep their winter tires on until May 1.

Everyone should know that an all-wheel-drive performance car with summer tires is useless in a wet spring snowstorm.
