BMW gave away a new 2015 M4 Coupe to a lucky 26 year old professional golfer. What did he do to win the performance M4?
Every golfer’s dream is to get a hole-in-one, but 26 year old Andrew Johnston got a whole lot more. Johnston who is from England, was literally jumping for joy after winning a top-of-the-range 2015 BMW M4 performance coupe at the BMW PGA Championship at Wentworth, England yesterday.
The 26-year-old Englishman, nicknamed “Beef”, hit a seven-iron on the 10th hole at Wentworth’s iconic West Course and got a new M4 from BMW. Johnston danced on the green after seeing his ball go right into the hole. The young golf pro sprinted off the 10th hole to bump chests with a friend he had spotted in the gallery. “I just saw him and thought, right now is the time to go. It was perfect timing,” he said.
This was Johnston’s second hole in one in the professional ranks
Johnston, who hold the 68th spot on the Race to Dubai rankings as a professional golfer, had another hole in one at last year’s Scottish Open, and waked away after that one with 168 bottles of champagne. Hopefully, he kept a bottle on ice to celebrate this hole-in-one and his new M4.
The 2015 BMW M4 performance Coupe comes with a price tag of 106,500 euros, topping the 168 bottles of champagne by a huge margin. Needless to say, Johnson was incredibly happy with his new performance coupe.
