Subaru is introducing shoppers to their new 2017 Impreza compact in a unique way. Buy a pair of jeans, and then go next door to the Subaru Test Drive pop up store.
There’s a new way to buy a new 2017 Subaru Impreza in Australia. Buy a new pair of jeans at the mall, and then take a Subaru Impreza for a test drive. It’s Subaru Australia’s new Test-Drive pop-up stores in major shopping centers in Castle Towers, New South Wales, Highpoint, Victoria and Galleria, Western Australia.
Subaru AU is excited about the prospects of getting new customers in their recently-launched 2017 Impreza compact. They estimate there’s 3.6 million shoppers a month who frequent the malls where the new Test Drive pop-up stores are now located. Their goal is to engage the shoppers to test drive the car immediately, and ultimately, inspire them to purchase the new Impreza.
Not the traditional car-buying experience
It’s a new way to shop for a car and not the traditional car dealer experience. Subaru Australia’s Managing Director, Colin Christie said: “These pop-up stores will drive a new audience into our showrooms and go a long way in supporting the growth of the all-new incredible Impreza.
The shoppers can test drive the Impreza onsite, as the stores operate as mini-dealerships in the shopping centers. They have test drive facilities outside in the parking lot where customers are able to book a test-drive instantly.
Subaru says the design concept of the stores is also unique and in alignment with the brand’s philosophy of modern living, and also showcases aspects of Subaru’s high-class engineering and technology. It’s a great concept where shoppers can buy a pair of jeans and then go next door, and take a new 2017 Subaru Impreza for a test drive.
