Subaru announces new WinterFest for winter adventure seekers. What’s it all about?
Subaru is all about attracting young millennial winter adventure seekers to the brand, here's how they do it. Subaru has announced the new Subaru WinterFest 2017, a one-of-a-kind, multi-mountain resort destination and lifestyle tour for winter adventure seekers. With Subaru attracting new buyers to the brand at a 60 percent clip, many are young millennials who like the mountain winter lifestyle and are snowboarders. This is for you.
What is Subaru WinterFest 2017?
There’s fifteen stops across eleven states in twelve mountain resorts. Snowboarders, skiers, winter enthusiasts and Subaru owners can enjoy live music, food and beverage, daily giveaways, and gear demonstrations.
Subaru of America has partnered with POWDR Adventure Lifestyle CO, an event production group, Human Movement, and an active entertainment company that specializes in fueling the adventure lifestyle through experiential programming.
Subaru is is also teaming up with the National Ski Patrol to help create a scholarship fund that sends patrollers and their dogs to Wasatch Backcountry Rescue’s avalanche dog training school. During the WinterFest events, for every Subaru information form received, Subaru will donate $1 to the scholarship fund. At specific WinterFest events, patrollers will also be staging avalanche rescue demonstrations with their dogs.

It’s how Subaru introduces their brand of all-wheel-drive vehicles like the 2017 Outback, Forester, Crosstrek and new Impreza to a new generation of winter adventure seekers.
