But they are ultra-exclusive and won’t come cheap.
The ultimate performance family hauler
The performance X twins will make their world debuts together in Los Angeles, this week. The all-new BMW X5 M and BMW X6 M will be the ultimate family performance vehicles that will get you to the grocery store in record time. And BMW M says these latest generation of high-performance all-wheel-drive vehicles deliver boosted output, optimized suspension technology, and new heights of luxury and innovation in the equipment range.
New levels of performance
The new 2015 BMW X5 M and BMW X6 M raise the bar in terms of dynamics, steering precision, and braking performance. Both models are powered by a 4.4-liter V8 engine with M twin-scroll turbochargers that delivers 567 horsepower and 553 lb-ft of torque. The V8 comes mated to an eight-speed M Steptronic transmission with Drivelogic. That’s a 3 percent increase over the outgoing models. The new 4.4-liter V8 engine gets even more torque which has been boosted by 53 lb-ft which equates to an increase of 10 percent.
