Subaru announced the new 2024 Subaru BRZ will make its debut at Subiefest. Check out the details here.
What changes are coming to the 2024 Subaru BRZ sports coupe? We have yet to determine, as Subaru is tight-lipped about the new changes coming to the sports coupe. But we have some ideas of what customers can expect.
We know the new rear-drive two-door BRZ is coming for Subiefest, a Subaru-oriented show in Santa Anita Park Arcadia, California, for brand enthusiasts.
There will be thousands of Subaru fans who attend the event. Nothing else is like it if you love your rear-drive Subaru BRZ, or all-wheel-drive WRX, STI, Forester, Outback, Crosstrek, or another model.
You can also see Subaru's Family Huckster 1983 GL wagon Travis Pastrana drove at the Goodwood Festival of Speed this weekend. Pastrana took second place with the fastest time next to the McLaren Solus GT.
What changes will Subaru make to the 2024 Subaru BRZ?
This is year three after the BRZ sport coupe received a complete remodel. Subaru will not make any significant changes to the new 2024 sports car. But the 2024 Subaru BRZ will get a price increase. Here's why there will be minimal changes for the 2024 model year.
Planet Subaru explains that low-volume models like the BRZ get updated less frequently than the top sellers (Crosstrek, Outback, and Forester). Those volume products are usually all-new every five years, with a significant "refresh" in the fourth year.
Because re-engineering a vehicle costs many millions of dollars, the BRZ, which Subaru sells in small quantities, receives less frequent updates.
Subaru of America says, "A sharper and more focused BRZ will debut at Subiefest California on July 23, 2023." That means the 2024 BRZ will come with Eyesight driver assist safety technology on the 6-speed manual transmission model for the first time.
Subaru Corporation has now developed the new EyeSight technology and its compatibility with a manual gearbox, and it is coming to the U.S. spec sports car. Read the complete report in the link below.
Planet Subaru says, "Don't hold your breath waiting for a convertible option or a hybrid powerplant." Torque News via Subaru Report will bring the news when it's announced at Subiefest on July 23. Stay tuned.
