Subaru has released the new 2014 Forester interactive online dynamic brochure for global buyers to take a first look at the all-new Forester and see it like never before.
The all-new fourth generation 2014 Subaru Forester is bigger than the outgoing model, it gets better fuel mileage and is more versatile and capable than ever. And now buyers can go online and take a first look at the new 2014 Forester Dynamic Brochure that has just been released by Subaru. The newly designed crossover broke cover late last year and has been making its global launch. Why has there been so much excitement over the mid-size SUV and what does the new model feature in the new dynamic brochure?
The fourth generation all-wheel drive Forester has been a big success already around the globe because of the new features that Subaru designed into the mid-size SUV. It gets a newly designed exterior, a roomier interior, improved performance and higher fuel economy across the line. It also features a new 250 horsepower 2.0-liter direct-injection turbocharged Boxer engine. It competes in the highly competitive segment with the 2013 Honda CR-V, 2014 Toyota RAV4 and Mazda CX-5. Why would buyers choose the new Forester?
2014 Forester gets new buyer friendly features
For 2014, all Forester models come with a number of new features never offered before on the crossover. These include a new Electric Power Assisted Steering (EPAS) system that contributes to the improved fuel efficiency and provides excellent feedback to the driver. All models, except for the base 2.5i, now come with a standard rear vision camera and color multi-function display. Other new features include a power rear liftgate with automatic close, and Keyless Access and Start. New safety features for all 2014 Forester models include anti-whiplash front seats, a driver’s knee airbag, Brake Override and an impact-sensing fuel system cutoff.
Forester features new EyeSight
Subaru’s new driver assist system called EyeSight has been wildly popular and is being offered for the first time on the 2014 Forester. The new safety system includes Pre-Collision Braking System, Pre-Collision Brake Assist, Pre-Collision Throttle Management, Adaptive Cruise Control, Lane Sway and Departure Warning and Lead Vehicle Start Alert.
X Mode is for active lifestyles
The new 2014 Forester is a global vehicle and the X Mode is featured on the crossover for the first time. It will allow owners in North America, Europe, Eurasia and Australia to go through some very extreme conditions. Owners will encounter unpaved roads that are slippery and uneven and the X Mode will get them to their destination and back home safely.
On unpaved and slippery roads, torque is not distributed evenly to all four wheels and one or more wheels can begin to slip and the vehicle can lose traction and get stuck in the snow or mud. Forester X Mode is designed to be used easily and can be engaged with a flip of a switch. The X Mode will allow any driver regardless of skill level, to escape any extreme situation they may encounter.
