You want your wrecked Subaru Forester, Outback or Crosstrek fixed right, but why is it important to Subaru? Subaru isn’t your ordinary car company.
Subaru says their vision is to show love and respect to all people at every interaction with their company, but what does this have to do with finding the best auto body shop? Subaru isn’t your ordinary car company. One way they show it is if you get in an accident and need your car fixed. It’s a big hassle to find the best auto body shop who will fix your car right.
Subaru wants to make it easier for their customers when their new Forester, Outback, or Crosstrek needs body repair. Subaru of America (SOA) has set up a newly-formed network of body shops who are certified to work on your all-wheel-drive vehicle. They also provide a locator so you can find the recommended body shop near where you live. Subaru also finds body shops who care about the communities where they do business.
SOA announced they are rolling out the Subaru Certified Collision Network for their customers who need collision repair work done on their Subaru vehicle. These new collision repair centers will need to complete the proper training and will use the proper equipment to restore your Subaru to its original factory specifications. There will also need to use genuine Subaru parts to fix it right. What does this have to do with love and respect?
The centers must show Subaru love to the community
One interesting requirement of these Subaru Certified Collision centers is that they are required to participate in at least one volunteer event throughout the year with a local 501(c)3 non-profit of their choosing. Subaru of America says they did this because this aligns with the Subaru Love Promise which is the Camden, N.J. automaker’s vision “to show love and respect to all people at every interaction with Subaru and to support its communities and customers nationwide.” So if a collision center doesn’t want to get involved with “showing love” to the community, they can’t be part of the SCCN.
Subaru even says they care about your kids who will be driving your older Forester, Outback or Crosstrek after it’s been in an accident. John Lancaster, National Wholesale Parts Manager, Subaru of America says, “We understand Subaru drivers love their vehicles; often purchasing for safety and handing beloved vehicles down to their children.”
Since Subaru is all about safety, the certified repair centers will also have the expertise to accurately recalibrate the components of your EyeSight driver assist technology that comes standard on the new 2019 Subaru Forester, 2019 Ascent, 2019 Outback, and 2019 Legacy. Taking your EyeSight-equipped Subaru to other body shops could leave you without the safety system working properly. Subaru seems to be serious about showing love and respect, and they even find the best auto body shops who will support their communities. Subaru isn’t your ordinary car company.
