Toyotas are great. There’s no doubt about that. However, what’s not so great are original car owners who fail to properly maintain their Toyota and wind up trying to pass off their car when it becomes a problem onto someone else desperate to buy a used Toyota during a time when good used Toyotas are hard to find.

That was the message in a recent Scotty Kilmer YouTube channel video where Scotty reminds car shoppers that regardless of how great of a reputation any car has, you still have to have a prepurchase inspection to protect yourself from a bad used car deal.
