Here are the best deals on new SUVs listed by Consumer Reports’ analysts who studied current national incentives to find models boasting notable discounts that are good until at least July 31, 2023.

According to a recent Consumer Reports newsletter, right now we are seeing some potential savings on new model SUVs this year from Cadillac, Chevrolet, Hyundai, Kia, and Mazda.

To help consumers identify the models CR analysts consider to be smart buys, they have done the research for you and picked out seven remarkable standouts not only because of current national incentive deals, but also due to that all seven models are those, “…with a strong Overall Score, factoring in road-test performance, owner satisfaction, reliability, and safety,” states the newsletter.

Caveats to the Best Deals

While the incentives do look attractive you will have to take into consideration that depending on your locale, supply and demand still puts dealers behind the wheel of what kind of deal you can get.

In fact, according to CR analysts,” ...transaction data from our partner TrueCar shows that, on average, most of these are selling for a bit over sticker price. This underscores the importance of being armed with the latest data and using it to negotiate or using a car-buying service.”

That said, here are the models listed in decreasing rank order by the percentage of potential savings off MSRP, which is currently 6 to 10 percent.
