Here’s an eye-opening video by an attorney who explains why when you wind up buying a used car that was part of a scam or some type of seller misrepresentation of a vehicle, that you might not have any legal protections to help you recover your losses.
The gist of his advice is that your best protection is taking the responsibility, time, and expense to have any and all used cars you are considering buying, inspected by a professional mechanic. Unfortunately, however, there are a number of reasonable-sounding myths car shoppers believe that offer some protection when buying a used car that prevents them from performing their own due diligence.
