In its second full year of production, 2018 Honda Ridgeline comes to market with 3 fewer trim choices and two new color options. Honda simplifies the “build and buy” process while holding the MSRP in check.

2017 is a transitional year for automakers in the U.S., as the rather bullish new car market of the past 3 years takes a correction. Honda remains one of the few automakers maintaining market share; bolstered by the most unique midsize Ridgeline pickup holding its own in an expanding small and midsize truck segment. Honda places an emphasis on Ridgeline’s “park and play” tailgate capability.

2018 Honda Ridgeline is unique unto itself

In other words, there is no other pickup truck offering quite like Ridgeline. Featuring a large volume lockable pickup truck bed trunk, that handily doubles as a massive ice chest, an available open-air bed-sidewall integrated speaker system, and a very handy 120 volt power inverter, Ridgeline comes to your next sport or camp outing ready to party. Getting there is a pleasure thanks to the most refined ride and drive experience in the midsize truck segment.

2018 Honda Ridgeline offers a refined car-like ride, and real-world truck hauling and towing capacity. While Ridgeline won’t tow a 14.000 lb toy hauler, either will Toyota Tacoma or Chevrolet Colorado.

2018 Honda Ridgeline features the largest 5-passenger cab volume in the midsize truck segment

For 2018 Honda Ridgeline returns with the largest volume 2-row extended cab available in a midsize pickup truck. Designed with comfort, electronic connectivity, utility, and safety in mind, 2018 Honda Ridgeline capitalizes on Honda’s exceptional car-like ride and drive characteristics, while providing a tough poly-composite truck bed rated at 1500lbs, and a towing capacity approaching 5,000 lb.

Torque News first experienced the second generation Ridgeline Pickup in the backcountry of San Antonio, Texas. We found Ridgeline to be superior in ride dynamic, frame rigidity, truck bed toughness, and overall ride comfort to the competition in the dirt as well as on the highway.
