Ferrari Cuts the Roof Off the LaFerrari

Ferrari has officially revealed the LaFerrari Spider. Before you ask, all of allocated spiders Ferrari is planning to build have been sold. How? Ferrari showed this model to potential customers at a private event earlier this year.

Ferrari is keeping a lot of the details of the LaFerrari Spider under wraps till it debuts it later this year at the Paris Motor Show. They did reveal a couple of items to whet our appetite. First is the model will use the same hybrid powertrain as the LaFerrari (6.3L V12 paired with electric motor to produce 949 horsepower). Second is the Spider featuring a soft top and a removable carbon fiber hard top. Third is Spider having modifications made to the chassis body to retain the performance of the standard model.
