The Jaguar F-Pace has proven to be a huge success for the British automaker, outselling every model in their lineup. How do you follow up this success story? By building a smaller crossover.
Jaguar has announced the E-Pace which will take on the likes of the BMW X3 and Mercedes-Benz GLC-Class when it launches early next year. The automaker has dropped a few teaser images and details for their new crossover.
The image seen here shows the E-Pace is similar to the F-Pace in overall profile with a short front overhang, sloping roofline, and similar tailgate design with slim taillights. Jaguar also dropped some other tidbits of the E-Pace with the U.S. model coming with only gas engines (we're assuming a similar lineup to the XE with a turbo-four and supercharged V6) and all-wheel drive. Pricing for the U.S. model will begin at $38,600 (excludes a $995 destination charge).
Jaguar will spill the rest of the beans on the E-Pace on July 13th.
