Next month will be the Geneva Auto Show and automakers are beginning to tease their showings. Case in point is Volvo.
On the brand's Facebook page, a picture was posted showing part of the front end of a vehicle sitting in a garage. The caption on the photo reads "March 7, 2017. 10:45am CET."
What vehicle is Volvo teasing here? Most likely it is the next-generation XC60. We're basing this on how high the grille and headlights are sitting in the picture. If recent spy shots are anything to go by (thanks CarScoops), the XC60 will be similar to the XC90. The key details such as the new grille and 'Thor's Hammer' headlights are present.
Rumor has it that Volvo will be using the Scalable Premium Architecture (SPA) currently being used by the 90 Series. Expect a range of four-cylinder gas and diesel engines, with the possibility of a plug-in and electric powertrains down the road.
