The all-new 2020 Jeep Gladiator is having a banner year. The mid-sized pickup has yet another award to add to the stack already in its truck bed!
Jeeps fans waited for years for the company to bring back a pickup and since the 2020 Jeep Gladiator was introduced, it has taken home a slew of awards. Now, the 2020 Jeep Gladiator has been selected as the Official Winter Truck of New England. This was the first year that the Gladiator was eligible. Members of the New England Motor Press Association from Connecticut, Maine, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Rhode Island and Vermont voted on the award.
"The Jeep Gladiator is the Swiss Army knife of Jeep, it is a serious off-road vehicle, useful pickup truck, comfortable passenger vehicle, competent highway cruiser that easily dominates winter in New England," said John Paul, President, New England Motor Press Association. "The Jeep Gladiator proves itself as the best all-around pickup truck and makes it the clear choice as the 2020 New England Motor Press Association Winter Pickup Truck of the Year."
Exclusive 2020 Jeep Gladiator Features
The all-new Jeep Gladiator midsize pickup has already had a great year. The most capable Jeep truck ever was also chosen as the 2020 North American International Auto Show Truck of the Year and the 2020 Rocky Mountain Truck of the Year. The northeast is Jeep’s largest market and the Gladiator checks all the Jeep boxes. It is great both on and off-road and can handle virtually everything that the Jeep Wrangler does. The 2020 Jeep Gladiator has great towing power for its size and includes all of the fun Jeep perks: removable doors and roof as well as hidden interior storage. The Gladiator also has several exclusive features like a removable, wireless speaker and a front facing camera in the grill that allows you to see exactly what conditions you are driving into.
The New England Motor Press Association
The New England Motor Press Association’s journalists reach an estimated 14.5 million people living in the six-state region. New England has some of the toughest winters, battling bitter cold as well as storms known as Nor’easters. The 2020 Jeep Gladiator builds on decades of Jeep engineering, combining rugged utility, versatility and open-air amenities. All Gladiator models are Trail Rated. According to Jeep, that means that the vehicle is designed to perform in a variety of challenging off-road conditions identified by five key consumer-oriented performance categories: traction, ground clearance, maneuverability, articulation and water fording.
