Jeep and its Mopar Performance Parts department are now offering two different types of doors for the 2021 Jeep Gladiator. The doors can be ordered straight from the factory so they match perfectly. That way you can add the cost into the price of the new vehicle.
Jeep has had so much success offering half doors for its incredibly popular 2021 Jeep Wrangler that it is now offering the half doors for its 2021 Jeep Gladiator straight from the factory. People who are buying a 2021 Jeep Gladiator will be able to order half doors as part of a Dual-Door Group factory option.
A huge part of the Jeep mystique is being able to get outdoors and take the top off the vehicle, so you can enjoy being outside even more. Now, you can order half doors for your Jeep Gladiator, so you can enjoy the great outdoors even more and not have to worry about items falling out of the vehicle, if the doors are off. The Mopar Jeep Performance Parts half doors will make it safer to carry children or pets with you. The doors will give you the sense of being open-air, but still protect items you have in the vehicle. How many purses, backpacks and coolers have bounced out of Jeeps while off-roading!
Jeep Gladiator Dual Door Factory Option
Buyers will be able to order the half doors straight from the factory so that the paint matches perfectly. They will also be able to order whichever upper window assembly they want. The upper-window assemblies are designed to create weather-tight seals and feature zippered plastic windows for quick, easy removal. Customers can choose between the base-model vinyl that matches the production soft-top roof or premium acrylic that matches the premium soft-top roof.
“Open-air freedom is a hallmark of the Jeep brand,” said Jim Morrison, Vice President, Jeep Brand North America. “Following our introduction of new half doors for Jeep Wrangler earlier this year, we are now giving passionate Gladiator owners an opportunity to let even more of the outside in.”
“We work closely with our friends at Jeep to create and properly engineer new accessories,” said Mark Bosanac, North America Vice President, Mopar Service, Parts & Customer Care. “Across the entire Jeep vehicle lineup, we offer more than 500 quality-tested, factory-backed parts and accessories.”
Jeep Gladiator’s Huge Off-Road Following
When I wrote about Jeep adding the dual door option for the Jeep Wranglers six months ago, I questioned how long it would take for Jeep to have the same option for Gladiators. The Jeep Gladiator has grown in popularity and recently won the midsize pickup category in the J.D. Power 2021 Initial Quality Study. That means that Jeep Gladiator buyers rate their new vehicles very highly for quality, in this case, the highest of any midsize truck.
Because the new Dual Door option comes straight from the factory, it means that the extra doors will be covered under the new vehicle warranty of three years/36,000 miles. The regular full-steel doors are installed on the vehicle and the perfectly matching half doors are stowed inside the vehicle. It also means that buyers will be able to build the cost of the extra doors into their purchase price, instead of having to buy them later.

Dual Door Easy Operation
The new half doors are designed to work with the other features on the Jeep Gladiator including the power mirrors, blind-spot detection, passive and non-passive entry handles, and power locks. According to Jeep, drivers can easily switch from full doors to half doors within minutes using the existing hinge locations and the exact same wiring connections. Each upper-door frame section uses an easy, tool-free, dual-guide post feature for easy installation and removal.
