After complaints from dealers and potential buyers that vehicles have gotten too expensive, Chrysler is adding a lower priced option.

Chrysler has experienced a lot of infighting this year as dealers have complained to the Stellantis parent company that vehicles have gotten too expensive, and dealers need more family friendly models to sell. Chrysler, as a brand, was down to only the 2024 Chrysler Pacifica minivan and selling off the remaining 2023 Chrysler 300 sedans that were being phased out. Now, Chrysler is bringing back the Chrysler Voyager minivan as a 2025 model. The 2025 Chrysler Voyager is being touted as a budget-friendly model with a starting price just under $40,000 plus destination charges.

“The 2025 Chrysler Voyager offers customers a well-equipped, budget-conscious minivan and reinforces our brand’s commitment to delivering choices in the segment Stellantis created more than 40 years ago and continues to lead," said Chris Feuell, Chrysler brand CEO – Stellantis. “We’ve added many comfort, technology-focused and safety features as standard equipment on Chrysler Voyager, including standard Stow ‘n Go seating, making the Voyager an attractive, value-packed option within the Chrysler family of minivans.”

The Voyager was phased out after the 2023 model year, but it is being brought back as a less-expensive part of the Chrysler Minivan lineup. Slow vehicle sales have convinced upper management that trying to force families to buy the more expensive versions with lots of bells and whistles wasn’t working. The 2025 Voyager will give families the opportunity to buy a new vehicle with fewer options but all of the safety that the Chrysler minivan is known for. Chrysler created the minivan segment more than 40 years ago and continues to add innovations.
