Dodge promised in November that it would make it possible for Challenger SRT Hellcat owners to turn their vehicles into performance beasts. Now, Dodge is making good on that promise, releasing information about Tuner and Stage Kits that can boost the Dodge Challenger SRT Hellcat Redeye up to 885 horsepower and Challenger SRT Hellcat to 750-plus horsepower.
Dodge is releasing more information about its Direct Connection Performance Parts Lineup that is designed by engineers and will help Dodge Challenger and Charger owners boost their cars' performance and horsepower. Dodge is also letting owners know how they can download the whole Direct Connection Parts Catalog and reach out for help from the Technical Hotline.
The new Direct Connection performance parts are backed with a factory warranty as long as the parts are installed by Dodge trained professionals, in specific Power Brokers dealerships. There are 14 new performance kits for the production Dodge Challenger. There are also 13 new race-ready kits and four graphics packages for the Dodge Challenger Mopar Drag Pak.
As I reported in November, Dodge announced its Never Lift campaign, which provides a two-year road map to the brand’s electrified performance future. The Dodge 24 Months of Muscle calendar can be viewed at Dodgegarage.com/never-lift.
“Direct Connection will continue its rollout next year with a lineup of 200-plus parts, and with a network of Dodge Power Brokers dealers trained and equipped to help enthusiasts take that performance to the next level,” said Tim Kuniskis, Dodge Brand Chief Executive Officer – Stellantis. “The opening of orders for Direct Connection performance parts in the first quarter of 2022 is just the start — the lineup of Direct Connection products and Dodge Power Brokers dealers will continue to grow in the years ahead.”
Direct Connection Parts
The parts catalog will truly unlock a Dodge Challenger SRT Hellcat owner’s candy store. The driver can decide exactly what he/she wants to add and how much money he/she wants to spend. The parts catalog can be downloaded at Dodge.com/dodge-muscle. The catalog provides performance “recipes” and information different options available. Direct Connection will offer different parts for Modern Performance, Competition, Crate Engines and even Vintage Muscle parts. There is also a Direct Connection (800) 998-1110 hotline where potential buyers can talk with technical support about what is available.
Dodge Power Brokers
The most important thing about the Direct Connection parts is that they are designed by Stellantis engineers. If the parts Are installed by a Dodge Power Brokers dealership, they will carry a three-year/36,000-mile new vehicle basic limited warranty and the five-year/60,000-mile powertrain limited warranty from the original installation date. Dodge says they are making sure the modifications will be legal in all fifty states.
The Dodge Power Brokers dealer network is scheduled to start operating late Q1 2022. Only the highest rated dealerships will qualify to be Power Brokers. The Direct Connection parts should start to be available about the same time as the Power Broker dealers start operating. Dodge Power Brokers dealers will be the only place to buy the Direct Connection performance parts.
Dodge released all sorts of information about the different Stage and Tuner kits that will be available. From what I can tell, the parts can only be used on 2019 and newer Dodge Challenger SRT Hellcats. However Dodge has said parts will be available for older Challengers and Chargers. One section of available parts in the catalog also targets vintage or classic vehicles.
