Jeep Performance has redesigned the windshield wiper so it cleans quicker!

Jeep has mastered the art of making off-roading more fun and functional. Now Jeep Performance Parts has created a new type of windshield wiper blades to clean quicker and better. That means it is safer to get your Jeep, like this 2022 Wrangler Rubicon, dirty. The newly designed wiper blades have little jets built in to make cleaning more efficient.

The new high-performance wiper blades will fit both the Jeep Wrangler and the Gladiator. The new blades will clean the windshield more quickly, so you don’t have those seconds of being blinded by the fluid. You also should use less wiper fluid because you don’t have to run the wipers as long.

How the New Performance Wiper Blades Work

As shown in the video, the key to the new performance wipers is the 12 laser-cut holes along each blade. The holes create wet jets that release washer fluid along the entire length, flooding the dirty windshield glass as the blade travels along its arc. Dirt and debris are washed away immediately.

When the driver installs the new performance wipers, they disable the Jeep’s regular spray nozzles. The new JPP system uses less washer fluid while minimizing the flooded windshield “blind seconds” while driving.

“Our new, innovative JPP performance wiper blades quickly restore visibility while tackling the toughest trails by keeping the washer fluid where it belongs – on the glass,” said Mark Bosanac, North America senior vice president, Mopar service, parts and customer care. “Perfect for off-road or on-road driving, our new ultra-capable wiper blades are just one of the more than 500 quality-tested, factory-backed parts and accessories in our Jeep portfolio.”

How to Get the New Wiper Kit

The JPP performance wiper kit (Mopar part number PW100013AB) is available now in the U.S. and Canada. The new wipers fit 2018 model-year and newer Jeep Wrangler and Jeep Gladiator models. The kit contains arms, blades and tubing required for initial installation, as well as one set of replacement blades. The kit is fairly expensive at $140, but if you like to drive off-road, it would be a great addition. The Jeep Performance Part wiper kit is available through the Mopar e-Store.
