AutoPacific is out with its 2019 Ideal Vehicle Awards and the 2019 Ram 1500 leads the pack.
Ram is celebrating yet another award for its 2019 Ram 1500 and this one was voted by the people who actually buy vehicles. Marketing firm AutoPacific has released its latest Ideal Vehicle Awards and the all-new 2019 Ram 1500 leads the Full-Size Pickup category. Ram ranked the top brand overall and was ranked the top “Popular Brand”.
2019 Ram 1500 Ranked on Vehicle Satisfaction Surveys
AutoPacific bases its rankings on new vehicle satisfaction surveys. AutoPacific explains the process this way, “More than 50,000 respondents rated 14 vehicle attributes based on their desire for change. Those vehicles whose owners want the least change rank highest in their class for the Ideal Vehicle Award.”
The people who filled out the surveys purchased a vehicle between September and December of 2018. They were polled after driving their vehicles for at least 90 days.
“The Ideal Vehicle Awards recognize vehicles that best meet their owner’s expectations and desires,” said George Peterson, AutoPacific president. “These are vehicles that are ‘just right’ for their owners.”
Second AutoPacific Top Finish This Year for 2019 Ram 1500
Earlier this year, the Ram Brand was also named the Highest Satisfaction Popular Brand in the AutoPacific 2019 Vehicle Satisfaction Awards. That award was also based on the 2019 Ram 1500.
In other words, Ram owners say that the 2019 Ram 1500 was the best at meeting their expectations. Ram has had a banner year when it comes to winning awards. The 2019 Ram 1500 was Motor Trend’s Truck of the Year and has been praised for its huge 12-inch touchscreen on its infotainment system. It features upgraded interiors and improved fuel economy for both its V-6 and V-8 versions. Ram also pioneered the in-floor storage systems giving drivers more cargo space.
Other FCA Top Finishers
Several other FCA vehicles did well in the AutoPacific ratings. The Jeep Grand Cherokee was chosen best-in-class for Mid-Size SUV for the ninth consecutive year. The incredible Dodge Challenger was top dog in the Sporty Car category for the third time in four years. The Chrysler 300 received best-in-class for Large Cars for the second year in a row.
