The new Challenger will be in showrooms this April at a suggested price of $29,670, and was revealed last Friday at the seventh annual Spring Festival of LXs, with over 1,000 Dodge Chargers, Dodge Challengers, Dodge Magnums and Chrysler 300s registered in North America.

Based on the 2012 Dodge Challenger SXT Plus, the new Challenger Rallye Redline special edition plays to the outlaw look and attitude bringing fresh bad-boy style to the iconic car.
The hood, roof and rear deck of the Rallye Redline proudly display the tachometer red rally striping across its centerline. Twenty-inch Pitch Black wheels fill the wells, with a Redline lip and inner drum providing the look of a born hellraiser.
Wide P245/45R20 Firestone Firehawk all-season performance tires ensure close contact with the road while a lower sidewall profile provides precise steering and cutting-edge handling.
The 2012 Dodge Challenger Rallye Redline has optional heated front performance Radar Red leather seats, or can be fitted with Dark Slate Gray leather over the roomy seating for five.

The power plant is a 3.6-liter Pentastar V-6 engine with cold-air induction and dual exhausts running from the headers to the outlets allowing maximum output. With 268 lb.-ft. of torque at 4,800 rpm, torque exceeds 90 percent peak value from 1,800 to 6,400 rpm, resulting in exhilarating performance and responsiveness. The enginesall-aluminum design creates a 52.4 / 47.6 front-to-rear weight distribution for superior balance and handling.
The five-speed Auto Stick transmission features die-cast zinc paddle shifters, while for improved acceleration, the 2012 Dodge Challenger Rallye Redline has replaced the 2.65:1 rear-axle ratio with a more responsive 3.06:1 unit.

Up front, you’ll find dual-piston front calipers replace single-piston units and larger 13.6 x 1.26-inch vented rotors replace 12.6 x 1.1-inch units.
