With production of 2020 Toyota Tundra trucks about to hit full speed, buyers now know what colors they have to choose from with the TRD Pro model. Find out what they are.
Toyota has announced its color options for the 2020 Tundra TRD Pro. Once you make the decision that the 2020 Toyota Tundra TRD Pro is for you, your next important choice is what color to go with.
What are the 2020 Tundra TRD Pro color choices?
In 2019 Tundra customers had a 3-color decision to make for their TRD Pro. They could pick Super White, Midnight Black Metallic or Voodoo Blue.
For the 2020 model year, Toyota has switched things up a bit. Tundra buyers can pick from Army Green, Midnight Black Metallic, Magnetic Gray Metallic and Super White. Magnetic Gray is a new addition to the TRD Pro lineup for 2020, although certainly not new to the Tundra fleet.
Army Green is Toyota’s exclusive TRD Pro color for 2020. Last year the exclusive color was Voodoo Blue and it was Cavalry Blue for 2018.
Toyota has been very secretive with its 2020 Tundra in Army Green color, and even one single sneak peek photo is proving impossible to find. I am including a picture of the 2020 Toyota Tacoma TRD Pro in Army Green so you can see the right color for now.
Toyota will offer Army Green in 4 of its vehicles for the 2020 model year. Already announced are 2020 Tacoma, 2020 4Runner, 2020 Tundra and the all-new 2020 Sequoia TRD Pro.
The new 2020 Sequoia, Tundra and 4Runner are now available to pre-order including pricing. As an example for Tundra pricing, the base factory MSRP for 2020 Tundra TRD Pro CrewMax is $52,780.
The 2020 Tacoma TRD Pro is available for customers to place an order through deposit at their favorite dealerships. However, pricing for the 2020 Tacoma is not yet available. I expect this information within a few weeks.
2020 Tundra TRD Pro available in more than one configuration
Toyota listened to customer feedback and decided to offer the 2020 Tundra TRD Pro in both Double Cab and CrewMax configurations. Previously the TRD Pro was only available in the CrewMax.
Other new features on the 2020 Toyota Tundra TRD Pro
This is not a full redesign year for the Toyota Tundra. I repeat the 2020 Tundra is not a redesign (soon though). However, 2020 is a model year where buyers should appreciate some important technology updates. The 2020 Tacoma and 4Runner also feature key upgrades with their refreshed models.
Both Android Auto and Apple CarPlay are standard across the board on all 2020 Tundra trucks. Also, look for a new multimedia touch screen size increase, bumping from 7” to its new 8” touch screen.
Other upgrades are the addition of dynamic navigation, which means navigation information is updated in real time versus a map card. Standard Wi-Fi Connect and Safety Connect are other features truck shoppers should be interested in.
Do you think you would prefer a new Tundra, Sequoia, Tacoma or 4Runner? If your choice is a Tundra TRD Pro, would you choose Double Cab or CrewMax configuration? Check out my latest Tundra story where I am discussing how reliable the Toyota Tundra truck is.
Thanks for reading everyone. See you next story when I show you how to choose between a 2019 and a 2020 4Runner.
